In 1996 we were blessed with our second child. Her name is Dominique. Approximately 4 years later she was diagnosed with Autism and Mental Retardation. Ira Spencer, Dominiques dad was an active duty member of the U. S Navy. Dominique’s mom was in Management with one of the major Auto Insurance carriers. We also had an 11 12 year old son. The diagnosis changed our lives forever. But this family was determined to do whatever it took to provide the most suitable environment to maximize her development.
